Rainbow falls over Yangthang village

We have some exciting updates for you! Thanks to dedicated supporters like you, along with the hard work of our tireless field staff, we’re proud to announce that READ Global has opened three new READ Centers in India and Bhutan.

Our new center in the Yangthang village is Bhutan’s 7th READ center, which will provide access to books, computers, and trainings to more than 3,200 villagers of all ages.

Along with our new center in Bhutan, we’ve opened our 16th and 17th READ Centers in India. These new community spaces – made possible by the generosity of Caterpillar and Accenture – will bring education, technology, and empowerment to the Padalsingi and Wazirabad villages for years to come!

The Wazirabad Center was opened in partnership with Accenture

Both centers put a strong focus on women’s empowerment
